Greek alphabet reference
All twenty-four letters, upper and lower case, with the name, how it is written in Latin letters, and what it usually stands for.
It runs entirely in this browser tab: the seed makes a sheet repeatable, nothing is uploaded, and nothing about a child is stored anywhere.
Settings
- Letters
- All twenty-four, or the ones a formula actually uses. Choices: All of them, The ones in formulas.
- With the uses
- What the letter usually stands for — usually, not always.
- With the codes
- The codepoint and the name a formula editor knows it by.
How to use it
- Paste your text into the box above, or open a file.
- Adjust the settings beside it until the result is what you wanted.
- Copy the result, or save it as a file. The result updates as you type.
Questions
- Can I print the same sheet again?
- Yes, and that is what the seed is for. Type a word or a number into it and the sheet is the same every time; share the link and everybody gets that sheet. A fresh one shows the seed it used, so a sheet that went well can be pinned after the fact.
- Where are the answers?
- On the sheet, unless you switch them off — and the result says which way round it is. Turn them off before handing it out; turn them back on for marking.
- Is anything about my class stored?
- No. There is no account, no progress and no score, and no list you paste leaves this tab. The sheet is drawn in the browser and printed from it.
- How do I print it?
- Copy or save the result and print that. What comes out is what is on the screen: the sheets are laid out to be printed rather than to be filled in on a phone.
